Procedure

Disperse Carbopol Ultrez 30 polymer at low mixing speed (200-400rpm) into deionized water. Dissolve disodium EDTA in batch. Add glycerin and butylene glycol. Continue mixing at low mixing speed until homogeneous. In a separate vessel, prepare a dispersion of silicone powder in water. Add to batch and continue mixing between each addition at low mixing speed until homogeneous. PART C: Add preservative, Antarcticine* marine ingredient and fragrance in order to batch. Continue mixing between each addition at low mixing speed until homogeneous. PART D: In a separate vessel, prepare a solution of 0.5% Intenza Mango Tango in deionized water, then add to batch. Mix at low mixing speed until homogeneous. Neutralize with Sodium Hydroxide to pH 6.3-6.4. Scrape the side of the vessel using a spatula and continue mixing at low mixing speed (200-300rpm) until homogeneous.

Appearance—Orange translucent gel with frosty texture; pH—6.0—6.5; Viscosity (mPa•s) Brookfield RVDV-II+ Viscometer spindle #7 @ 20 rpm, 25°C @ 24 hours-60,000-70,000; Recommended Packaging—jar; Stabilty—Passed three months RT/45°C/50°C; passed 5 freeze/thaw cycles.
